Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Will I be able to earn district professional development credit hours for attending?
Yes, we'll manually enter participants and award credit via Cornerstone following the event.
Will we find out what sessions will be offered before the event?
Yes, we'll share final details and all sessions no later than Tuesday, November 5th.
What if I can only attend for part of the day?
We ask that you not register unless you can commit to the entire day.
What if I don't show up or need to cancel my registration?
In an effort to be fair to everyone, those that register and do not show up will not be able to register for future Google events. If you need to cancel, you must do so at least 72 hours before the workshop begins by canceling your ticket in Eventbrite and emailing me to confirm. If you registered and did not show up for one of the Google Bootcamps this past summer, we'll be following up with you.
Do I need to have any prior knowledge of or practice with G Suite for Education to attend?
No, there will be sessions for all users (beginners to advanced practitioners).
What do I need to do/bring with me when attending?
An open mind, excitement, a laptop, headphones, and a charger for your device.
Can I attend if I'm not working at a current PL, MIZ, or VILs campus?
At this time, we cannot accommodate educators outside of these cohorts. Be on the look out for events in the spring and next summer that will be open to all teachers in Dallas ISD.
Will lunch be provided?
Yes!
